Peter Lyons is a London-based musician, composer and producer known for his inventive, multi-instrumental approach to making music. Emerging from the UK indie scene, he first gained attention as one half of the duo Peter and Kerry, before launching a solo career. His music blends elements of classical, folk, and experimental production, combining melodic writing with playful sonic experimentation.
Peter has released a number of solo recordings which have received radio support from stations such as BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, KEXP, and Triple J, and DJ’s such as Huw Stephens and Annie Mac. His work has also extended into composing music for short films and creative projects, including soundtracks produced in collaboration with Adidas, and music for dance including for New Adventures and English National Ballet.
Known for his eclectic style and DIY ethos, Peter has built a reputation as a prolific songwriter and producer, crafting music that mixes warmth, experimental textures and emotional honesty, with over 40 million streams to his name. Having sung since he was a teenager, his voice can be heard on music, games and film the world over.
